Poker Celebrities to Judge Everest Poker Live the Dream Competition
Montreal, QC (PRWEB) March 10, 2008 -- Everest Poker is proud to announce today that the 200 finalists for its interactive Live the Dream competition have been determined, and an exclusive panel of poker professionals is ready to judge them to see who has what it takes to win it all.
The grand prize in Everest Poker's Live The Dream competition (http://www.everestpoker.com/video) will transform 10 of the 200 finalists into global poker pros and brand ambassadors for a year. The winners will travel the globe participating in WSOP, WPT, and EPT events, with all buy-ins, transportation and lavish luxury items provided for them by Everest Poker for a total of $100,000 each.
But first the 200 finalists will head to Palais Auersperg, Vienna (from March 29-30) where they will have to impress a formidable international jury with their poker skills and their personality. To assemble this jury, Everest Poker has scoured Europe for professional poker players that have seen all facets of the poker world - the good, the bad and the ugly.
Everest Poker are proud to unveil their impartial, international team of selectors as:
- Thomas Kremser. Thomas, 38, is one of the most respected faces in European poker. He oversaw the last two Everest Poker European Championships and he is a regular European Poker Tour Tournament Director. A resident of Vienna, Thomas has over 12 years experience in poker and his reputation means his decisions are never questioned!
- Alberto Russo. Alberto, 31, is one of the founders of the Texas Hold'Em movement in Italy. He was Editor of the first Italian poker portal and then launched Card Player Italia as Editor-in-Chief. Recently, he has switched his attention to TV and is a regular on EPT Live so he knows about both the game and presentation skills.
- Bruno Fitoussi. Bruno, 49, has an incredible poker mind - beating the great Amarillo Slim in 2001 on his way to being crowned World Heads-Up Poker Champion and last year was 2nd in the $50,000 WSOP H.O.R.S.E Event. With nearly $2,000,000 of live tournament winnings to date he is respected far beyond his native France - so players beware - not much gets passed Bruno.
There will also be Everest Poker staff on the jury who will be constantly monitoring every aspect of the players behavior.
